I’ve always wanted a solar backpack . But for some misterious reason solar-backpacks-inventors intent to aim for the most repulsive design known to mankind when they manufacture these bags. Instead of complaining to them hoping they would find some time to make a backpack anyone with eyesight would even consider wearing, i took matters into my own hands. I cut up one of those design tragedies, took out the solar panel and installed it in my old Dakine. As i’m not exactly Karl Lagerfeld when it comes to sewing, the stitching is a bit of and i’m not quite sure it’s still waterproof, but the outcome is awesome. A backpack that enables me to basically charge any mobile device wherever i am, depending on the sun’s courtesy.
